This is a reminder to all Sophomores that course changes must be submitted to Mrs. Waltenbaugh by TODAY, Friday, April 26.

Service Opportunities:
Food cupboard is Monday after school in the SJA Social Hall.
 
Prom:
Today is the last day to purchase prom tickets. Tickets may be purchased before school in room 205, and during both lunch periods. All forms must be turned in when purchasing a ticket.
 
Fundraiser Event:
Please join us at Gametime Bar and Grill for a fundraiser for student council. The date is April 30th. Come after your home game and support your school. There will be great food and lots of fun.

12 Helpers are needed for our 2 home track meets: TUESDAY, April 30, 3:30 PM to 6 PM; and SATURDAY, May 11, 8:30 AM to 12 PM. Helpers will be marking distances, writing times down, and line judging. Sign up and more info on Google Classroom.
 
Reminder that the Silent Auction and Dinner to benefit St. John the Baptist / St. Peter Altar and Rosary Society Fundraiser is this Saturday, April 27th, from 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm at The KSU Stark Campus Conference Center. Address and what to wear for the 8 of you who are doing that are on GC.
 
Two-four volunteers are needed to help time and organize St. Joan of Arc athletes in the 3rd-6th grade elementary track meets this Sunday, April 28th from 3:30-7 pm and next Sunday, May 5th from 12:30-4 pm, both meets are at CCHS. See Mrs. Cramer if you are interested.

Athletics:
Lacrosse had a great win Wednesday night, beating the Holy Name Green Wave 17-7 at home. Leading the scoring was Conner Thomas with 9 goals, followed by Ricky Salvino with 6, and 1 each for Max Held and Dominic Bogdan. Bryce Stalneker led the team in assists with 5,
followed by Conner Thomas with 4, Grady Noggle with 2, and Dominic Bogdan and Ricky Salvino with one each. Goalie Rocco Ross had numerous saves, and our defense was led by John Shew, Isaac Ray, John Fabek, John White, Brock Abbott and Wes Zuchegno.

Athletics:
The girls track team competed at Louisville last night. Placing were Isis Hall who won the 100M meter and 200 meters, Allison Ries who won the 1600 and 3200, Taylor Magee 1st in high jump, and Caroline Crane 2nd in shot put and discus. The boys team lost to Louisville 78-50. Placing first for Central were Aidan Nasvadi 4x800, 800, Grant Eberhardt 4x800, 1600, Easton miller 4x800, Carlos Cantera-Quintero 4x800, Drew Neal 400 meters, Jonathan Stangl shot put and discus and 4 x200 relay of Drew Neal, Derron Chisholm, Jeremiah Watts, Brayden Finan. Also placing were Tommy Grisez in long jump, Ben Reese in 1600, Nick Hallaman in 3200, Jacob Magee in the 400, Carlos Cantera-Qunitero in the 800.

Volunteers are needed to help with St.Clement's Festival, June 6, 7, & 8th. These hours would count for next year's service requirements. More information is on GC including a QR code to scan for you to sign up to help.
 
Food cupboard is canceled today after school because of confirmation, it will resume next week.
 
Bingo cleanup is tomorrow at 9:00 pm at SJA in the social hall.
 
Stark Parks has a service opportunity to participate in their youth advisory committee on the last Saturday of each month between April and September. The first of these is April 27th. See GC for details.
 
Camp Invention @ St. Michael’s, June 10th - June 14th, Mon—>Fri, 8:15 am - 3:15 pm. 4 volunteers are needed. 40 hours of Service will be given. You must be able to commit to being there all 5 days for the whole time.

Athletics:
On Saturday at the Stark County Championship meet the girls track team placed 10th in Division II/III. Placing for the girls were Isis Hall, Allison Ries, Celeste Levengood, Anna Winkhart, Lily Bentzel, Molly Marceric, Ellie Buckler, Sara Schmidt and Caroline Crane. The Boys team placed 9th in Division II/III. Placing for the boys were Drew Neal, Jonathan Stangl, and Jeremiah Watts. Special Congrats to the Boys 4 x800 relay of Aidan Nasvadi, Grant Eberhardt, Carlos Cantera-Quintero, and Easton Miller who placed 8th overall and were on the
podium.
