Congratulations to Mrs. Perretta. She was selected as Central Catholic’s Repository Teacher of the Month for October!

Mrs. Perretta has been a dedicated Crusader for decades. She is a 1989 graduate and returned to her alma mater in 2002 to teach in the mathematics department. Mrs. Perretta’s math courses, along with the math department in general, are noted as one of the strongest departments in the county. The CCHS math department is known for thoroughly preparing students for collegiate math classes and test scores well above county, state, and national averages.

In addition to serving as math department chair, she is student council and ski club advisor which requires a great deal of after-school hours working with students and organizing school-wide events. More importantly, she is a compassionate and in-touch instructor who picks up on which students need a little extra attention, who might need a break, and who could work a bit harder for success. We’re proud to have Mrs. Perretta on staff and take great pride in the strength of our mathematics department.
