Crusaders celebrate Halloween by serving others

Happy Halloween! The Crusaders noted the festivities of Halloween in our own unique way, celebrating through service to our preschool and elementary friends.

Central Catholic students held their annual Trunk or Treat, on October 15. They had a great turnout despite the rainy weather. Trunk or Treat is sponsored each year by CAST, the Central Catholic "Caring And Serving Together" Service Organization which is one of the groups that provides opportunities for students to get involved and give back to their community.

On October 26th, students and staff were thrilled to have students and staff visit from St. Joan of Arc (SJA). SJA students & staff came dressed in their favorite Halloween or Saint costumes and received lots of attention from our students who passed out treats as the younger students paraded through.

Then on October 29th, several Central Catholic students, including members of our new Healthy Heart Club, traveled to St. Benedict in Canton to participate in their neighborhood Trunk or Treat which was organized by Campus Minister at CCHS Deacon Randy, leaders of St. Mary/St. Benedict Parish, and Ignite Youth Ministry.

Students are called to serve others, as part of their faith development at Central Catholic, and they have fun doing as they serve!
