It’s another busy Crusader evening! Tonight (Thurs. Oct. 19) at 6 pm, we have two different teams playing in the second round of post-season tournaments.
Crusaders Volleyball will play St. Thomas Aquinas, at home, after a sweep against Lordstown in round 1. Leading stats from round one include, aces Sydney Turner 7, kills Maddie Heiser 8 & Lauren Neisel 5, blocks Heiser 3 & Turner 2, assists Turner 19, digs Siena Dierdorf 2 & Jaeda Johnson 2.
Crusaders Boys Soccer will play Fairview, away, after defeating Brooklyn 7-0 in their sectional semi-finals! Stand-out plays were given by, Bryce Stalnaker, Vince Pena, and Alex Winkhart who each had 2 goals, a goal from Shea Donadeo, Alex Winkhart added 2 assists and Pena, Stalnaker, Jeremiah Watts, and Jacob Sabino each added an assist. Emerson Schwiger made 3 saves as the whole defense worked hard to ensure the 4th shutout of the season.
