CCHS Cross Country on a winning streak

Crusader Cross Country is on a hot streak! Sat. Oct. 7, at the Tuslaw Invitational at Nickajack Farms, the boys cross country team placed 3rd. Leading the Crusaders were Grant Ebehardt, Carlos Cantera-Quintero, Ben Reese, Easton Miller, Nick Hallaman, Rowan Benjamin and Juan Cantera-Quintero. The girls placed 3rd led by Allison Ries, who placed 4th overall, Analisa Manson, Celeste Levengood, Lily Bentzel, Katherine Hernandez, and Klhoe Volpe. After a great showing, senior, Allison Ries was also selected as the Canton Repository’s Division II/III Runner of the Week!

On Sat. Sept. 30, at the Stark County Championship meet at GlenOak, the boys cross country team placed 5th in D2-D3 and 13th overall. Leading the Crusaders were Grant Eberhardt, Ben Reese, Carlos Cantera-Quintero, Easton Miller, Nick Hallaman, Rowan Benjamin, and Juan Cantera-Quintero. The Girls placed 8th in D2-D3, led by Allison Ries, Celeste Levengood, Katherine Hernandez, Khloe Volpe, and Carmella Ward. 
 
Great job, Cru! The Crusaders conclude their regular season this morning, Saturday, October 14, at home vs. Massillon and Ursuline.
