It was a banner week for several talented students at Ss. Philip and James School! The Stark County Right to Life organization recently held its annual artwork and essay contest, and students from Ss. Philip and James School came out on top!

Lila Montgomery captured first place in the art category. Ethan Rowles also had a stellar performance, earning third place recognition for both his art submission and essay entry. Rounding out the school's successes was Aiden Liptak, whose essay claimed the second place award.

At a special banquet ceremony, the top entries across all age groups were recognized, and Montgomery, Rowles, and Liptak were presented with their respective prizes. 

The Stark County Right to Life organization sponsors the yearly competition to encourage students to create thought-provoking artwork and writing that upholds the sanctity of human life. Entries are judged on their ability to positively promote the pro-life message through their creativity and persuasive skills.

The school community celebrates the achievements of these amazing students. Their award-winning pieces will be on public display at the upcoming Stark County Fair, giving visitors the opportunity to appreciate the powerful statements made through the students' artistic talents.

"These awards demonstrate how our students use their abilities and compassion to support important causes. Their success will inspire other students to get involved with issues they care about."
