Once again, Central Catholic had several students attend American Legion's Buckeye Boys and Girls State. The students selected to be the 2023 delegates were Brigid Burke, Jack Hopkins, and Paige Watters, each of them is from the Class of 2024.
Buckeye Boys and Girls State is an American Legion program that brings together more than 2,000 young men and women from 600+ high schools across Ohio. Buckeye Girls State is a week-long program, held at Mount Union. Buckeye Boys State is also a week-long program, held at Miami University. The week is intended to educate delegates about the inner workings of government and the privileges, rights, and responsibilities of good citizenship.
