Congratulations to Sydney Turner, Class of 2024. She was selected to represent Central Catholic in "Athletes Strong for Mental Health," a Stark County-wide initiative led by our partner Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health. Athletes from 10 Stark County schools were asked to speak up in order to encourage students to talk about mental health and strategies to decrease stress.
Sydney is a member of our Crusaders Ladies Volleyball Team. Last year, with her help, the team won the District Championship and advanced to the Regional Semi-Finals. She also realized a career achievement last year, reaching 1,000 assists! We're excited to see what she does during her senior season!
