Congratulations to the Central Catholic Arts Program. Four Crusader art students, Olivia Johnston (Class of 2026), Frances Palaski (Class of 2026), Alex Vargo (Class of 2023), and Jessica Edgell (Class of 2023), each had their work selected as winning pieces in the St. Columba Cathedral Art Contest.
Students were asked to submit work that depicted spiritual development. Having pieces selected as winners in this contest feels extra special to us, as it challenged artists to intersect their artistic God-given talents, classroom skills, and their personal faith journey. Not only were they presented with an award, but their work will also be on display permanently at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown.
